About Meru Foundation

The Meru Foundation was founded in 1983 to study ancient alphabets and texts from a modern mathematical perspective, with emphasis on their self-organizing whole systems. Its work is based on 40 years of research by Stan Tenen into the origin and nature of the Hebrew alphabet, and the mathematical structure underlying the sequence of letters of the Hebrew text of Genesis.

The Foundation is a registered California 501(c)(3) private nonprofit research and educational corporation, with an Advisory Board of academic and religious scholars. Contributions to Meru Foundation are tax-deductible in the manner permitted by law. If you would like more information, please contact Levanah Tenen at meru@meru.orgĀ
